AM I UNDER A CONTRACT WITH TIRED OF BEING RIPPED OFF IF I JOIN?
No, there are no contracts between Tired Of Being Ripped Off and its members. You may deactivate your membership or any of your notices at any time.
CAN I BE SUED IF I POST A NOTICE ON THIS WEBSITE?
If you think there is a possiblity of being sued please see a lawyer before posting any information on this site. In many jurisdictions any entity has a legal right to file a lawsuit. This does not mean that they are right or they will succeed. A threat of a lawsuit or an actual filing of legal papers may just be an attempt to scare their opponent.

DOES TIRED OF BEING RIPPED OFF OFFER LEGAL ADVICE?

That is what the website is all about – direct contact with someone else who may have been ripped off by the same person or organization who has ripped you off.
DO I HAVE TO USE MY REAL NAME AND EMAIL?
You may use any username or email that you wish but keep in mind that other members have to be able to contact you. You may wish to set up an email address just for use on this website.
WHO CAN JOIN?
Anyone who is 18 years and older can join. The members could also include the indvidual or business who you feel may have ripped you off.
CAN I CHANGE MY NOTICE AFTER I HAVE POSTED IT?
Your notice can be changed or deactived anytime after it has been posted.
SHOULD I MEET THE RESPONDER TO MY EMAIL IN PERSON?
This would totally be your decision. It may be possible to solve your issues without meeting anyone in person or you may hire a lawyer or another person to meet with the other members of Tired Of Being Ripped Off who contact you.
Any person in any part of the world can contact you through this site. The issue may not be local. You may not need to meet any person who contacts you and it is possible that another member may refer you to a business or government agency who has previously helped them with the same issue.
